For the class, we’ll close off the café area, keep the lights low, and play chill background music to create a calm, relaxing environment.
Kel Corrick is a longtime practitioner of the Feldenkrais Method (since 1983) and a teacher of Transcendental Meditation (since 2014). He has taught Feldenkrais classes in over 20 countries and co-directs the Rochester Transcendental Meditation Center with his wife. The classes will focus on practical techniques for reducing stress and anxiety, especially helpful for people supporting loved ones at Mayo or navigating stressful situations.
Each session will include:
Simple breathing exercises to reduce stress and anxiety
Gentle Feldenkrais© movement exercises that can be done seated in a chair
Relaxing, guided mental journeys
