Grocery Clerk - Part Time

Our clerks treat excellent customer service as their primary focus and will replenish and merchandise all grocery products and maintain a working knowledge of product selection and location. Will keep the department clean, organized, presentable, and products easily accessible. Assist with bagging groceries when necessary. Provide courteous, friendly and efficient service to customers and other team members. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Beer / Wine Lead Clerk - Full Time

Our lead clerks treat the excellency of customer service as their primary focus and will do this through product ordering, various production assignments, careful inventory control, and accurate record keeping.  They will also be responsible for training new talent, adjusting scheduling, and prioritizing tasks.  Lead clerks will need to communicate effectively, assist department managers in organizational duties, understand, adhere to, and demonstrate correct company policy and procedure, among the other duties required by a clerk.  Minimum physical requirements include the ability to 50 lbs., standing during work hours, being able to use a knife or box cutter, and being able to operate a baler.  Supervisory experience preferred.

Events and Catering Manager - Full Time

People’s Food Co-op is currently seeking a full-time Events and Catering Manager to support the mission of the Co-op through coordinating events and catering for the La Crosse store, meeting high standards of service and quality. Reporting to the Food Service Director, this individual will work cooperatively with other food service departments to meet customers’ needs for in-house and off-site events and develop and plan special projects for expansion of PFC food service options.

Produce Clerk - Full Time

People’s Food Co-op is currently seeking a Full-Time Produce Clerk for variable days and hours.  Our Produce Clerks live and breathe awesome service and provide overall department support to include maintaining the quality and presentation of product on the floor and on display, stocking shelves, and ensuring compliance with sanitary and safety standards and procedures.  Qualified candidates must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation, including the ability to safely lift 40 lbs., to handle knives and other cutting equipment, work in a wet and cold environment, stand/walk 6-8 hours per day, engage in the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting and reaching, and work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Deli Counter Clerk - Full Time

Bakery Food Production Clerk - Part Time

People’s Food Co-op is currently seeking Part-Time Bakery Food Production Clerks for variable days and hours (including early morning and mid-afternoon shifts).  Our FPIs support bakery output by measuring, mixing and preparing ingredients for production according to PFC’s high quality standards, have familiarity with food & health safety regulations, and have demonstrated success being strong collaborators and positive team players in a food retail environment.  Qualified candidates must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation, including the ability to safely lift around 50 lbs., stand/walk 6-8 hours per day, engage in the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting and reaching, and work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
