Dairy, Meat, and Seafood
At PFC we work closely with local farmer co-ops to bring you the freshest dairy products produced right in your backyard. If organic dairy is your priority, we carry the original – Organic Valley. We proudly feature OV’s milk, butter, and cheeses. If you want a conventional rBGH-free option, we work with Swiss Valley and Westby Co-op Creamery to bring you excellent quality local milk, yogurt, and cheese at great prices. We also carry artisanal specialty products that you can’t get anywhere else – glass bottled milk from Castle Rock dairy, fresh goat milk and cheeses, and locally made yogurts.
Meat and Seafood
Fresh meat at PFC is a mix of tradition, passion, and art. You’ll find grass-fed beef that will remind you of what quality used to taste like. No growth hormones, no antibiotics, and grass fed, supplemented in winters with organic grain creates a lean, fresh taste without comparison.
You’ll also find fresh local pork, Amish-raised chicken, sausages made fresh daily by our own butcher, lunch meats, and specialty meats. The fresh seafood case offers a variety of seasonal wild caught and farm-raised delicacies that are selected from sustainable fisheries and flown in fresh. Our specialty meat case holds deli-sliced meats and ready-for-dinner staples such as marinated chicken, stuffed pork chops, bacon wrapped tenderloins, and more!
The freezer holds all-natural and organic varieties of pork, elk, lamb, beef, turkey, chicken, and fish. Stock up on marinades, B-B-Q sauces and rubs before moving on to our rotisserie oven that features our delicious roasted Amish chicken as well as daily special offerings of beef ribs, pork ribs, pork loin roast, or leg of lamb.
